About Us

Here at Kids Landing, we know that your child is an individual of the utmost importance and our entire team is committed to meeting their needs while they are in our care. We encourage learning through play and each child is allowed time to explore and build character through socialization, crafts, pretend play, and other structured activities. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.

We also offer a part-time care program, which was developed specifically for parents requiring a regular childcare arrangement. The Kids Landing part-time program allows you to choose which hours best suit your needs. In other words, it is custom fit for the parents. We also offer discount packages as another means for parents to save on the hourly drop-in rate. Packages are pre-paid hours bought in bulk for you to use whenever you need childcare. The more you buy, the more you save! We also offer military and student discounts.

Kids Landing also offers a preschool program for children 2 1/2 to 4 years. Through our play and learn prgram your preschooler will strengthen her cognitive skills with plenty of hands-on activities, and emphasis is placed on social interaction and emotional growth, as your child begins to interact more with others. The pre-school program features:

Daily whole group instruction to promote social skill development
Balance of nurturing, playtime and learning throughout the day
Monthly thematic units that provide a variety of daily activities and experiences
Special daily and weekly themes or seasonal activities provide variety and excitement.
Art is enjoyed as children are exposed to both teacher directed projects and independent exploration of art materials.
Development of confidence, self-esteem and a love of learning
Learning areas focused on dramatic play, creative arts, language and sensory exploration
Children are introduced to letters and sounds, colors, and numbers.
Math skills are developed with hands-on experiences, as children work on counting, sorting, comparing, classifying, and measuring.
Fine motor skills are strengthened through the use of manipulatives, play dough, creative table play, sensory tub materials, and a variety of art experiences.
Regular communication between teachers and parents to keep you informed about your child's day
Individual Portfolios and Assessments collect each child’s work and monitor progress.
